Respected Members of the Western Delegation,
I offer you my sincerest greetings.
As a man of the cloth, who has been a prisoner of this vicious regime, my greatest hope is of course, progress in discussions that lead to peace, freedom and the liberation of our country from the clutches of the anti-Iranian tyrants. I have spent the last eight years imprisoned and in the most horrible physical and psychological conditions; my family has also suffered unimaginably.
Your arrival in our county which brutally suffers under injustice is most welcome and we wish you great success in confronting the violent aims and combative methods of the black hearted rulers. My imprisonment by the claimants of religious canons is the best proof of their greed, blasphemy and murderous nature. It is because I have specifically taken issue with the merging of religion and politics that I am held as their captive, endured the most horrible physical and psychological tortures. I am almost blind, paralyzed, have had heart attacks, cancer. My call for assistance from any and all legal sources, has gleaned no results and though organizations such as the United Nations are in fact abreast of my situation, there has been no response. World leaders and figures such as the Pope have also been contacted on several occasions, to no avail. I therefore continue to be abused by the regime security authorities.
Ladies and gentlemen,
You, who come from progressive countries and defend human rights, when visiting our country, please do your share in aiding those who are being held in the clutches of criminals. Please shed light on this brutal dynasty that has taken over our country. My hope is that a leader who hears the pleas and cries for freedom, who understands the importance of the freedom of speech and freedom of the press. I ask you honorable envoys to please echo the voices of our people who seek justice and humanity. Do not allow those who seek independence of thought be buried alive in the Evin dungeons. Please enliven the conscience of the world community to hold accountable this tyranny; do not allow them to sit by and witness the slaughter of those who seek liberty and whose only crime is disobedience from institutionalized religion and confronting political Islam.
How do these defiled and rotten overlords allow themselves to squander our country's God-given wealth to interfere in Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain and Iraq, while our innocent people grapple with poverty, unemployment, rampant illnesses, destitution? And if anyone complains in this country, they meet my chained fate. I urgently request to meet with you.
